We are very determined says Ricki

Thumphu, BHUTAN – Maldives national team coach Ricki Herbert has said that they are very determined for the FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Bhutan tomorrow.

“Bhutan is on same point as us we have to note that so tomorrow’s game would be an interesting game and categorically shows the best side to win tomorrow. Hopefully we are on the right end of the ledger tomorrow.” Ricki said in the pre match press conference.

Ricki also added that he just took the helm of Maldives national team and it will be an interesting game for him.

“I have just taken over as the new head coach of Maldives and yesterday was my first training session with the complete team. And I am still getting to know them. It would be an important game for me as this would be the first match for me as the head coach of Maldives.”

“All countries are getting better and international football is getting interesting. We came here with respect to Bhutan but we came here with a positive frame of mind as well.”

“The most important thing is tomorrow is an international game and we came here to play a very strong and exciting football game. And I wish them good luck.”

Bhutan will play against Maldives tomorrow at 1700 hours Maldives time and the match would be live telecasting from TVM.
