YC2013: AYL 0-1 VB Addu FC: VB in to quarter finals

Male’, MALDIVES – VB Addu FC has booked a place in the quarterfinals of the ongoing Youth Championship after a narrow 1-0 win over All Youth Linkage.

Both teams knew that if they need to book a place in the quarterfinals they have to win the game and VB Addu FC started the game well.

In the last minute of the first half VB Addu FC’s Affan Hamza breaks the deadlock from a descent shot.

In the second half both the teams created the chances but fail to convert those chances to a goal.

With this win VB Addu FC has qualified for the quarterfinals from group A with six points from three matches. Meanwhile, Maziya Sports and Recreation Club was also qualified to the quarterfinals from this group as the winner of the group.
