YC2013: Kelaa advance to quarter finals

Male’, MALDIVES – Kelaa Naalhi Sports has secured a place in the quarter finals of the ongoing Youth Championship after a 2-2 draw against Mahibadhoo today.

In the 10th minute of the game Kelaa’s MIgdhadh Saeedh broke the deadlock and took the lead and before the break Kelaa’s Ahmed Shafaq scored another goal to increase the gap.

However, Mahibadhoo managed to score two goals in the dying minutes of the game. In the 88th minute Gasim Samaam scored the first goal from the spot and in the extra time of the match, Shuaid Saeed leveled the game.

Maziya and BG Sports will play in the first quarter final match of the tournament on 3rd February. The match will kick off at 1605 hours.
