Male’, MALDIVES – Ismail Nazeer’s two goals in the second half helped Mahibadhoo to win the match against Club Green Street in today’s Youth Championship. Mahibadhoo won the game by 2-0.

In the first half of the match both teams played well and created chances to score but neither side was able to find the net.

In the 12th minute of the second half Ismail Nazeer of Mahibadhoo broke the deadlock and 10 minutes before regular time he scored another superb goal to increase the margin.

Mahibadhoo now collected three points from two games in group C, while the group leaders Eagles have achieved six points from two games.

Mahibadhoo will face Kelaa Naalhi on 31st and a win is enough for them to reach the quarter finals.

Maziya will face Eadhafushi on Friday. The match will kick off at 1600hrs.
