YC2013: Maziya 3-5 BG: BG advance to semi

Male’, MALDIVES – BG Sports booked a place in the semi finals of the ongoing Youth Championship after beating Maziya Sports and Recreation Club by 5-3 on penalties.

In the 5th minute of the game Maziya’s Guraish Abdul Razzaq breaks the deadlock and took the lead.

Ahmed Zaid of BG Sports has scored in the 54th minute and leveled the game.

The match was leveled at 1-1 after the normal time and BG secured the semi final spot after the shoot out. For BG Sports Ahmed Aiman, Ismail Madheeh, Ali Jinah and Ahmed zaid had scored from the spot while Maziya’s Hussain Sajid and Ismail Aleef Ahmed scored from the spot.

New Radiant Sports Club will face Mahibadhoo Sports Club in tomorrow’s quarter final match. The match will kick off at 1605 hrs at National Stadium.
