YC2013: New Radiant 1-2 BG Sports: BG into the final

Male’, MALDIVES – BG Sports has booked a place in the final of the ongoing Youth Championship today after beating New Radiant by 2-1.

In the 32nd minute Mohamed Shabeen Adam scored a superb volley for BG Sports.

In the 66th minute BG Sports was reduced to 10 players after Ali Jinah was sent off with a second yellow card.

Ahmed Zaid of BG Sports doubled the lead in the 77th minute but New Radiant’s Ibrahim Ushamath managed to put his name on the score sheet in the 89th minute.

Club Valencia will play against VB Addu FC in the second semi final tomorrow. The match will kick off at 1605 hrs at National Stadium.
