YC2013: Victory 1-3 BG: BG Stuns Victory

Male’, MALDIVES – BG Sports beat Victory Sports Club by 3-1 in today’s Youth Championship game. Victory’s Ahmed Humam scored the only goal for them while Ahmed Shafee, Mohamed Shabeen Adam and Mohamed Maleeh scored for BG Sports.

In the first half neither team managed to break the deadlock but in the first minute of the second half, BG Sports’s Ahmed Shafee scored and took the lead.

Two minutes later Victory’s Ahmed Humam leveled the game while in the 65th minute Mohamed Shabeen Adam of BG Sports restored the lead.

BG’s third goal was scored by Mohamed Maleeh in 79th minute. In the dying minute of the game BG’s Mohamed Shabeen Adam was sent off.

In tomorrow’s game Group leader Valencia will face New Radiant and if New Radiant wins or draws, they will qualify for the quarter finals.
