Victory SC   Head Coach  
   
  Founded in 3rd July 1971, Victory sports club is said to be another successful club of the nation. No club has won President's Cup (formerly known as National Tournament) as much as they did. They have won the cup thrice in three year for two occassions and Victory is the first Maldivian club to win POMIS CUP, the only internationl tournament included in the domestic season. But surprisingly they are not as well known as other clubs like New Radiant and Valencia in abroad.  
   
 
   
  Mauroof Ahmed or Maatey is the former keeper and captain of Victory. He was the captain when they won National Tournament thrice in three years back in 1987. Interestingly he was the coach when they repeat that magic in 2002.

Under Mauroof, Victory has been at the top in recent years. They use to win atleast one tournament every year under his guidance.

Haveeru Daily named him as the best coach of season 2006.
