Riyaz in action for Eydhafushi

Male', MALDIVES -Valencia has not included Riyaz during the extended deadline for the inclusion of new players for the upcoming Dhiraagu Dhivehi League. Riyaz who was speculated of joining Valencia for the rest of the season was not included after an extension was given for the deadline to last night 2200hrs as Dhiraagu Dhivehi League was postponed to 12 th of this month.

Valencia 's manager Ahmed Mohamed (Dhona) said to maldivesoccer.com that Riyaz was not included because the team did not feel the importance of it at the time being

“We did not include him in the team list as we did not feel the importance of it at the moment”

It was believed that Valencia could not sign Riyaz previously because there was not enough time to finish his transfer.
