Eydhafushi celebrates their equaliser

Male', MALDIVES - The second match of ongoing Dhivehi League Qualification zone 1-8 ended a draw. First match between Hanimaadhoo ZJ and Hafman Sports ended 2-2 and similar to that yesterday the match between Eydhafushi ZJ and Mahibadhoo RJ concluded in the same fashion.

Mahibadhoo RJ doubled their lead in the first half with goals from Adam Niyaz and Asadhullah, but Eydhafushi cut the deficit to one before the half time with a goal from former Hurriyya and Under 23 national team player Mohamed Riyaz.

Eydhafushi rescued themselves from Mahibadhoo RJ in the later stage of the game. Ali Fasir’s 79th minute strike gave them a breathing space.

With two consecutive draw in this group, it seems a competitive one and defending Mahibadhoo ZJ is yet to show their superiority in the group.

Reynis Ginthi and Foundation for Vilufushi Development will play in today’s game, which is a group 2 game.
