Sonee hardware officially sponsored Victory

Male', MALDIVES - Sonee Hardware officially sponsored Victory sports club and signed the agreement yesterday in a colourful ceremony held at turf pitch. Former Victory players, officials, and players of current squad participated in the event.

Moosa Kaleem signed on behalf of Sonee Hardware and Victory’s president signed on behalf of the club. During the event, Moosa Kaleem spoke to the audience highlighting that clubs need to move into a more professionalism and urged business companies to sponsor the clubs and help the managements of the clubs to run it as a business.

From Victory sports clubs, board member Mohamed Hameed (Umarube) asked his players to perform well and use wisely what Sonee Hardware has given to the club.

A football match between the former players of Victory and a selected under 17 team was also played during the ceremony. Famous former referee Mallaa Nasir was the referee, and Ahmed Abeer and Ali Saleem was the assistants. Players performed in the match include, Jooley (the first Maldivian to score for Maldives national team in an overseas tournament), former national team captains, Shah Ismail and Mohamed Ibrahim (currently Victory’s Manager) and Ahmed Amir (currently Victory’s assistant Manager).
