season opening match

Male', MALDIVES - Victory coach Mauroof Ahmed stated that every match is a different match and they will try win today's game by playing a good football. Victory will face defending champion Valencia in today's game in ongoing Cup Winners Cup.

'Winning against last season's no. one club (New Radiant) in the season opening match increased our confident' He said.

Mauroof highlighted that his team is having some minor injuries and he mentioned that one such player is defender Ammaty. But he didn't say that he will be ruled out of the match or will be included in the starting line up.

Their Denmark striker Henrikson will start the game as usual but newly joined South African player will not play in today's game.

Valencia coach Eric confirmed that he is confident of winning the game, but showed his concern over the injuries of Azim (Andy) and Suney.

' That's the main problem. Only the available option is Raushan (Machay) and his partner is yet to confirm' Eric said.

Valencia's foreign player arrived last night, but his ITC (International Transfer Certificate) is yet to receive.

' If we receive his ITC by today, I might use him'.

Eric also said there are three outstanding players in Victory and they need to mark them closely.
