MALDIVES - The seventh minute goal by Vyansa from the spot really surprised the audience, but it took only 6 minutes for New Radiant to get back into the game when Bulgarian international Valentin scored for the blue team.
The expectation goes high when Ibrahim Fazeel strikes wonderfully in the 35 th minute, giving the lead many were awaiting. Ashfaag's come back in the second half really be the next surprise of the match, since the management kept on talking about giving him the rest prior to the match due to his injury. But the return of last three year's top scorer was really amazing, as he scored twice to make the score line 4-1.
After the game reporters were rushed into the news conference, but surprisingly there was no news conference due to the absence of FAM officials.
Ali Umar of New Radiant was declared the man of the match.
