Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - PDRM FA marched to the top of Malaysia Super League after beating Terengganu in Shah Alam by 3-1 last night.

Early goals in the first half helped the cops re-claim the top spot while Maldives’ Captain Ali Ashfaq, Dramane Traore and Shahurain Abu Samah shared the 3 goals.

Azman Adnan’s side dominated the first half and showed an outstanding performance. But, after the break, Terengganu were more organized and tried to pull a goal back. With lots of effort, Issey Nakajima finally found his name on the score sheet with a 90th minute goal.

Ashfaq expressed his excitement over the great win against Terengganu while talking to Maldivesoccer.com today.

“It was a good result and we are happy to be on the top, and we will try to win the next matches with this good form.”

PDRM are the league leaders with 18 points in 9 matches. ATM will host PDRM on 2nd May in Malaysia Super League at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Negeri Sembilan.
