Sahweed departs to Bahrain for AFC Congress

Male’, MALDIVES – Chairman of Football Association of Maldives Normalization Committee Mohamed Shaweed has departed to Bahrain for the 26th AFC Congress to be held on 30th of this month.

General Secretary Bassam Adeel Jaleel said to media before their departure that they are working hard to win the executive committee seat.

“We are working hard to get a seat for the Maldives from the AFC executive committee and we are very confident about winning the seat."

Former president of Football Association of Maldives, Ali Azim is a member of the AFC executive committee since 2011.
