BG starts with a win

Male’, MALDIVES – BG Sports started Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League with a winning start after a 3-0 win against Mahibadhoo today. Hamdhaan, Muaz and David scored the goals for BG Sports.

In the 15th minute, Tahi made a stunning shot on target but keeper Ifrah punched it away for a corner kick.

In the next minute Hamdhaan broke the deadlock from a rebounded ball from a shot made by Shiyam inside the box, which hits the woodwork from the first attempt.

In the 23rd minute BG Sports created another good chance to double the lead. David beat two players from Mahibadhoo and supplied a good ball into the box but Mahibadhoo players cleared the shot from Hamdhaan.

In the 51st minute Adama Shahir hits the woodwork from a wonderful shot inside the box.

Muaz missed another good chance in the 20th minute to double the lead for BG Sports when David gave a good ball to unmarked Muaz but keeper blocked his shot.

Ten minutes before the normal time David doubled the lead from a good shot inside the box. Muaz beat his marker and supplied a good ball to David.

In the last minute of the normal time Muaz increase the margin after a solo effort inside the box.

In the third match of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League Club Valencia will play against TC Sports tomorrow at 1600 hours.
