Comfortable win for Eagles

Male’, MALDIVES – Club Eagles beat BG Sports Club by 3-1 and closed the gap between league leaders Maziya to a point in Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

Eagles got 20 points from 10 games while leaders Maziya got 21 points from 10 games.

Eagles started the game very well and created good goal scoring chances in the first half of the game.

Ahmed Zaad broke the deadlock for Eagles in the 14th minute. Riste headed the corner kick from Rizuwan to Zaad and he netted it easily.

Seddik doubled the lead in the 29th minute after receiving the pass from Rizuwan, who beat three players before passing it to Seddik.

Substitute players Mubeen Ibrahim changed the score to 3-0 from a descent shot inside the box.

Nine minutes before the normal time David changed the score to 3-1.
