Victory beats BG

Male’, MALDIVES – Victory Sports Club won the match against BG Sports by 3-2 today and moved to the seventh position of the table in Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

After this win Victory got 9 points from 14 games and BG Sports dropped to the bottom of the table with 7 points. After the third round of the league the bottom team will be relegated to the second division and the seventh team will play af play off game against the winners of the second division.

Omodu Gofrey West opened the scoring in the second minute of the game for Victory and seven minutes later Mohamed Riswan doubled the lead for Victory.

David Osagie scored for BG Sports few minutes after the half hour mark and changed the score to 2-1.

However Maissiat Anthony Philippe scored for Victory and changed the score to 3-1 in the last minute before the break.

Kingsley changed the score to 3-2 in the 88th minute from a penalty when referee awarded a penalty to BG Sports after a foul by keeper Ifrah, who brought down Ibrahim Shiyam inside the box.

Club Valencia will play against New Radiant Sports Club tonight at 2100 hours at National Football Stadium.
