Goalless draw

Male’, MALDIVES – Club Eagles missed the chance to increase the gap between second place Maziya after a goalless draw against TC Sports Club today in the ongoing Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

Eagles Riste missed a golden opportunity to break the deadlock in the 6th minute. He received a decent ball and made an attempt inside the box that was blocked by Ahmed Abdulla.

Eagles Mohamed Seddik tested keeper Sujan in the 15th minute from a descent shot inside the box.

Ali Fasir missed another good chance to score in the 42nd minute. He received a good ball inside the box but shot it wide.

Ten minutes later keeper Sujan was forced to made another good save to stop the shot from Naiz.

Eagles lies on the top of the table with 27 points from 13 games while TC Sports got 24 points from 13 games. Maziya will regain top spot if they manage to win tonight’s game against United Victory.

Maziya will play against United Victory tonight at 2100 hours at National Stadium.
