Male’, MALDIVES – In an exclusive interview to maldivesoccer.com, New Radiant’s newly appointed coach, Velizar Emilov Popov has said that he is hungry for titles and urged the supporters to back the team.

“I want to make history with the club. I want to be remembered after years. I am workaholic. I want to do hardwork.”

“I am hungry for titles. The first priority is AFC Cup. International tournaments should be the top priority. We want to win the local tournaments as well”

“I don’t feel that being young is a problem. I have been a coach for the last 12 years. Under my leadership Cherno More played in the UEFA Europa League. So I hope the supporters will keep faith in me and would be behind the team.”

“The most important thing for the supporters is to support the team. Because the team is bigger than everyone. It would be difficult. With faith, hardwork nothing is impossible.
