MIFT 2016: DH. AEC confirms second round

Male’, MALDIVES – DH. Atoll Education Centre (DH. AEC) has confirmed a place in the second round of Milo Inter School Football Tournament’s U16 age group as the winners of group 1 after beating Ahmadhiyyaa International School by 2-1 yesterday.

Mohamed Shazeel opened the scoring for DH. AEC in the 25th minute and in the 13the minute of the second half Mohamed Zihaan Hussain doubled the lead for AEC. Simhaadh Ibrahim scored the only goal for Ahmadhiyyaa International School in the second half.

Jamaaluddin School won against Imaduddin School by 4-0 in the second match played in this age group.

Imkan Ibrahim scored a hat trick against Imaduddin School and Mohamed Sahil managed to put his name on the score sheet.

The winners of three groups will play in the second round and the best two teams will play in the final of this age group.
