MISFT 2016: Ghaazee School confirms second round

Male’, MALDIVES – Ghaazee School confirmed a place in the second round of ongoing Milo Inter School Football Tournament’s U16 age group after beating Thaajudeen School by 4-1.

In the match played at Henveiru Ground Nisham Zubair scored twice in the first half for Ghaazee School while Yamin Ali and Ali Asham Abdulla managed to put their names on the score sheet in the second half.

Mohamed Ziadhan Nizam scored the only goal for Thaajudeen School just four minutes before the normal time.

In the second match played in this group yesterday Iskandhar School thrashed Rehendhi School by 9-1.

However Ghaazee School confirmed a place in the second round with goal difference. The winner of group 1 is Dh. Atoll Education Centre and Muhiyddin School won the top spot in group 2.

The winners of three groups will play in the second round and the best two teams will play in the final of this age group.
