Sappe has signed a one year deal with BG Sports

Male’, MALDIVES – Victory’s midfielder Mohamed Shaffaz (Sappe) has signed for BG sports Club according to the club’s President Ali Murad (Ayya).

Speaking to maldivesoccer.com tonight Ayya said that they have signed a one year deal with Sappe.

“Sappe has signed a one year deal with BG Sports Club. Still we are trying sign some other players to strengthen the club for the upcoming season.”

Ayya also said that they in discussions with some other national team players but for the time being they can’t reveal their names.

“We are in talks with some other national team players but at the moment I can’t tell the names of them.”

Meanwhile Sappe said to maldivesoccer.com today that he has signed to BG as it was a good offer for him.

“BG’s offer was good and other than that I want to play more competitive games rather than watching the matches in the bench.”

“Last season we had a good team and failed to win the title and also I didn’t get so many chances to play. i want to play regular football.”

BG Sports Club has qualified for the first division for the first time after relegating Vyasna.
