Blues to camp in Hinnavaru

Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant Sports Club decided to camp in Lh. Hinnavaru for seven days from 1st February and play three friendly games to prepare for the upcoming season.

Speaking at a press conference held at FAM House today, New Radiant’s Chairman Ali Waheed said that the main purpose of MILO Tour 2014 was to motivate the players and to prepare for the upcoming season.

“The main reason for this tour is to motivate the players and to prepare for the upcoming season. We can use the full ground to practice and also we will take almost all the advantages of this island. We will use the turf pitch in Hinnavaru and also we will use the beach for the training.”

Balak also said that they will play three friendly games against Naifaru, Kureddu Island Resort and Hinnavaru on 3rd, 5th and 7th February respectively.

He also reiterated that they will take almost all the players in the senior team.

“We will include the senior players as we cannot include the youth players as the tournament is going on. And also our two foreign players will also join with the team in this tour.”

He also added that the club will start academy on 2nd February but an official event will be held on 15th February with senior team coach and players.
