MILO CMC2015: MACL faces Allied in SF

Male', Maldives - Allied and MACL advanced to the semi final of Milo CMC 2015. In the third QF match Allied and STELCO drew by 2-2.

Allied won the match in penalties by 4-2. Goals for Allied wer scored by, Muaz and Riffath. Penalties scored for Allied by Shafeeu and Saeed.

Goals for STELCO were scored by Maish and Ilyas. Abdulla Muaz of Allied was declared as the man of the match. Goal scored by Maish was selected as Allied Salhi Goal of the match. And, Adidas haters boot received by Mubeen of Allied.

In the other match of Quarter final, MACL beat MRDC by 2-0. At the onset of the game both teams attempted outsmart each other.

Ali Haisham took the lead for MACL from second penalty mark. Pace of the match increased and MRDC attempted to penetrate the strong defense wall of MACL. Just before half time, Jersey No. 12 Husham Ibrahim doubled the lead, in a counter attack, from a strong shot right into the middle of the net, to receive Allied Salhi goal scorer’s award and Adidas hater’s boot.

Ali Haisham, captain of MACL, was declared as the best player of the match.
