Maziya sign sponsorship deal with Sheesha
Male’, MALDIVES – Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has signed a sponsorship agreement with motorcycle business Sheesha Pvt Ltd for the upcoming season. In a ceremony held in Sheesha showroom, Ibrahim Waheed signed the agreement on behalf of Maziya and CEO Ibrahim Husham signed on behalf of Sheesha.
In the ceremony, Maziya also unveiled their jerseys for the upcoming season. Maziya will be wearing their usual green as the home jersey.
In the ceremony, Husham said that it is the beginning of their sponsorship in sports.
“We have not sponsored in sports before. This is a beginning for us”
Sheesha is the sole distributor for Honda in the Maldives and Husham added that they will be using the brand Sheesha in the international matches and in local matches they will be using Honda.
“We will be using the brand Honda in the jerseys for local matches and Sheesha for matches played abroad”
General Secretary Wahhab added that the agreement will benefit both parties and Maziya will be helping Sheesha to promote their products.
“We will be helping Sheesha to promote their products. It is an agreement which would benefit both the parties”
Vice Chairman Waheed said that they will not disclose the figure of the sponsorship deal in the ceremony, but would announce it at a later stage.
