Another draw, another camp in Thailand for another tournament. We can put a lot of ANOTHER in front of what national team has been forced to go through. Because FAM inadvertently or by design, see this as yet another tournament.

In a way, I understand the way the matches were arranged. It allowed the coach to test his whole squad, and also prepared the players to play every other day, as they will be doing so during the tournament. However, serious questions need to be asked over FAM's comments prior to the training camp. The teams we faced were not the sort of teams Suzain boasted about, and definitely nowhere near the quality of the teams we would be facing in the tournament. And what is the deal with Thailand? If costs were such an issue, why not camp in India? I'm sure that I-League clubs are more than willing to play their full teams against our national team for half the price. One more thing; do we have any friendlies arranged before the tournament? Because Suzain did say that we will be playing one friendly in Male' and one in Addu against national teams. If so, who are they?

I do agree too that there needs to be two more matches, at least one against a good team at the National Stadium to get back to feeling the way it really is on the day. 5 matches is what the coach wanted and he should be provided that opportunity, especially now that he has had the chance to assess the skills of all the players in the 3 matches played sop far.
