STO won the semi final match against MPL by 7-6 on penalties.

Male', MALDIVES - State Trading Organization (STO) and Police Club booked a place in the final of this year's Milo Club Maldives Cup.

STO finished their semi final game against MPL by 1-1 at full time but came out victorious in the tensed penalty shoot out by 7-6.

In the other semi final Police Club beat MTCC by 3-2.

Final will be played on May 3, 2014.

This tounament is setting a bad precedent. Some of the offices bring on board the very top players in futsal ahead of this tournament even though they dont have the requisite skills and training to the particular job being offered but only for the sake of the tournament. This is in direct contravention of office rules and govement rgulation. It is not just you have employees suplus to requirement or with minimum requred skills on your payroll, it takes a huge toll on the productivity and is a burden on the national exchequer. A line needs to be drawn and this must stop.
