Ok, this is what Maldives is doing???? haven't heard anything about other teams except Philippines. Dear MS please publish more about other teams, specially teams that are stronger than us.

Highly disappointing result. These thi boys are teenagers, couple of years back in junior high school were playing amateur football. Maldives side mainly of players who had won saff 2008 are battle-hardened, experienced stalwarts yet they come up with a draw. Is this the team that is going compete with the likes of Myanmar n co. We are doomed no wonder!!

Mahloof said we would be playing against extraordinarily talented opponents during this training camp. I seem to recall us facing Osotspa FC and Thailand U-19s when we camped in Thailand last year before the SAFF Championship...

That's true and as a result of the training in 2013, we played extremely well in the SAFF Championship, losing only to India in suspicious circumstances. Even the eventual Champions, Afghanistan, couldn't beat us and came second to us in the group stage.

Well said Imma. And it is Osotspa B team. :: @footballmad, i cannot agree you this time. In general we did not play well in last SAFF C'ship, specially in Afghan match. Anyway this Challenge cup is not SAFF C'ship this is much bigger. We are trying to play in Asian Cup, so i believe our preparations should be better, tougher. To my knowledge Philippines and Palestine is camping in middle east and playing stronger teams while we play against a B team and some teenagers!!!

Maldivian's are never happy for what they have.... We don't need to play Manchester United at this point. Thailand FA helps a lot for development of football in Maldives. Playing with not so tough teams will help coach to decide on selection rather than getting injuries to players. Thailand under 19 is a strong side already qualified for u20 championship.
