Blues appoint Simon as their coach

Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant Sports Club has appointed former Philippines national team coach Simon McMenemy as their new coach.

In press conference held at FAM House today, New Radiant’s chairman Ali Waheed (Balak) said that they have appointed Simon as their new coach for the AFC Cup.

“We have appointed Simon as our new coach during the AFC Cup. We did a contract for two months as he has some other commitments in June.”

“We are happy to have a coach, who has experience in the Asian football and it will be a good advantage for us.”

Balak also said that they will do everything possible to win the league and Presidents cup this season.

“We will do everything possible to win the league and Presidents Cup. We will bring a new coach and a foreign striker when Dhivehi League starts.”
