Male', MALDIVES - Customs and MPL started their Milo Club Maldives 2014 campaign with a win against President's Office and Housing Development Corporation (HDC) respectively.

Customs beat President's office by 4 - 2 while Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) won by 6-0.

In the other games played yesterday Allied beat Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) by 5-0, STO beat Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) by 4-3. Immigration beat MWSC by 2 - 0, while Dhiraagu beat Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) by 7 -0 and

It is time club Maldives cup organisers asked for turf ground for this tournament. This grassless dusty ground too injury prone for players. One match is enough for a players to retire out with grazed knee or scraped palm. So to keep the momentum and joy of the tournament in full flow it is important to think in this vain, or at least to take it to another level.
