Mayan appointed to AFC WC

Male’, MALDIVES – Football Association of Maldives head of women’s department, Mariyam Mohamed (Mayan) has been appointed as a member of AFC Women’s Committee.

In a press release from the FAM stated that Mayan’s appointed came in the AFC executive committee meeting held on 11th of this month. The term of Mayan’s appointment is from 2015 to 2019.

This is the first time that a women member from the Maldives is appointed for the AFC Women’s Committee.

Mayan is the assistant coach of Maldives women’s football team and she will be travelling to Reunion with the team tomorrow with the Maldives contingent.
