Male’, MALDIVES – Maldives national team coach Ricki Herbert has said that the players are improving very well and depth in squad is getting stronger.
“The team is improving very well and depth in squad getting stronger. I am happy with the way we played today. We controlled the game most of the time and played very well.” Ricki said after the friendly match against PDRM FA today.
Maldives won their third friendly game against Malaysian Super League club, PDRM FA by 3-2.
Asadhulla Abdulla, Ahmed Imaz and Ansar scored the goals for the Maldives. Maldives made many changes against PDRM FA and gave almost all the players to play.
Maldives will play their last friendly game against Negeri Sembilan on Saturday and will fly back to Maldives on Sunday after the training camp in Malaysia.
Maldives will fly to Trivandrum, India on Tuesday for the SAFF Suzuki Cup.
