It is surprising somebody who is so passionate in front of podium is so useless as an administrator. Ilham should have long been rid of. He has brought down FAM on its knees.

It's not surprising, let's be honest. This country is full of talkers these days, people who talk louder than others get everything. Ilham is an uneducated neanderthal who screams nonsense on podiums. We all knew that he had no knowledge whatsoever about how to run a sports entity even before he got elected. Yet clubs still voted for him. I am sure that they feel ashamed of themselves now.

Heart-warming news. The depth of rot that has set into this once mighty place can be seen by visiting its website (www.famaldives.com). Take closer look. The last time it has been updated is March 2013. Since then Maldives have taken part in important international tounaments, most notably the one it took to host, AFC Challenge Cup. Yet nobody botherd to give any updates to its friends from the region. That is, in this age of instantanous information from twitter and Facebook, criminal, it is like slipping into stone age. The product -dhivehi league - that was supposed to be promoted and market by marketing arm of FAM was conspicuous by their absence in any newsworthy way. Not even a 'kanmathee fihaara' was willing to sponsor it. NC has a lot of work to do.
