Nazeeh has resigned from the post of assistant coach of VB Addu FC yesterday.

Male’, MALDIVES – VB Addu FC’s assistant coach Mohamed Nazeeh has resigned from the post yesterday.

VB Addu FC manager Ibrahim Rasheed (Satho) said to maldivesoccer.com today that Nazeeh’s decision was based on the results.

“I guess his resignation was based on the poor results in the league. So we don’t want to say anything about it. He told me yesterday that he is going to resign and we do respect his decision.”

Satho also said that they will not bring a new coach for the rest of the season as they didn’t have enough time for that.

“We will work with Mohamed Shahid and Mufeed for the rest of the season. We don’t have enough time to bring a foreign coach and prepare the team again.”

“If we relegate from the league within few days we have to play the relegation so there is not time to do all of that.”

“We will not bring any local coach ahead of Shahid and there is no one other than Suzain and Nazeeh for that post. That’s what I believe.” Said Satho.

VB, who has won the league in 2009, 2010 and 2011, are in the bottom of the table with 9 points from 12 games.
