Bonda joins VB Addu FC

Bonda (White) in action against Maziya last year. He has joined with his previous club today.

Male’, MALDIVES – VB Addu FC has confirmed that Valencia’s midfielder Shamveel Qasim (Bonda) has joined them today.

VB Addu FC manager Ibrahim Rasheed (Satho) said to maldivesoccer today that Bonda has joined and they are happy with his decision to join the club.

“Bonda has joined us just now and we are happy to have him with us.”

Satho also said that they have paid some amount of money to Valencia for his release.

“We have given some amount of money to his former club Valencia but we don’t want to disclose the amount of money we paid for them.”

Bonda joined Valencia in last November and left the club and was with his family in his home island, Addu City after some financial problems with Valencia

Valencia doesnt seem to have learned with importance of treating their players well. it was just few months ago one of their former players living without electricity and other amenities forced FIFA to intervene. Now one of their most important players is at VB Addu Fc due to the same financial problems. How long will it take before Velancia remembers the meaning of commitment…..and get rid of the shame that is walking like a shadow around the club!!

Valencia has become a selling club! Wonder why they signed him if they didn't have the financing to have him in the team. I guess Azmeen and Rai didn't know what they were doing.
