Maziya 2-0 BG Sports: Maziya gets strong

Male’, MALDIVES – Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has won the match against BG Sports today after beating them by 2-0 to strengthen their position in the second. Ahmed Rasheed and Asadhulla Abdulla scored the goals.

Maziya created their first chance in the 5th minute when Easa’s shot wide just outside the box.

In the 18th minute Ibrahim Shiyam gave a good ball to Asadhulla Abdulla, but his shot just outside the box went wide.

Five minute later Ahmed Rasheed broke the deadlock from a superb header inside the box. Ahmed Rasheed’s timely header went straight to the top corner of the goal from a descent cross made by Ismail Easa from the right flank.

In the 34th minute Ibrahim Shiyam made a good shot inside the box but keeper Ifrah blocked it.

BG Sports missed a golden opportunity to level the game before the break; Keeper Imran blocked the shot from unmarked Faruhadh Ismail inside the box.

In the 79th minute, Ahmed Rasheed made a good shot but Ifrah blocked it and Asadhulla made another shot from the rebounded ball but it went wide.

Three minutes later Asadhulla Abdulla scored from a superb volley and increased the margin.

Club Eagles will play against Victory in tomorrow’s game.
