Male’, MALDIVES - Maldives national team defender, Rilwan Waheed is negotiating with New Radiant Sports Club and Club Valencia for the upcoming season.
Speaking to maldivesoccer.com Rilwan said that he's negotiating with New Radiant Sports Club and Club Valencia but he believe that the deal is more likely for the blues.
"I'm negotiating with New Radiant and Valencia. But I believe the deal is more likely for New Radiant."
Rilwan also said that he wants to be a successful player and for that he believe New Radiant would be the best club.
"I always wanted to be a successful player and in order to that I believe New Radiant would be the best club for that now."
He also noted that if he join New Radiant he would be able to play with more national team players and more competitive matches in the AFC Cup.
"If I join New Radiant, I would be able to play good competitive matches in the AFC Cup with more national team players."
Rilwan highlighted that the Chairman of New Radiant and his father's request are the plus points for him to go back to New Radiant.
"Chairman Balak is one strong reason why I would sign for New Radiant. My father even requested me to join New Radiant because it's his favourite club and he wants me to play under the chairmanship of Balak."
Rilwan ended his season due to ankle twist injury during the Dhiraagu Dhivehi League with Maziya.
