TC moves to the second

Male’, MALDIVES – TC Sports Club moved to the second position of the table after a comfortable 3-1 win against BG Sports today in Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

TC Sports got 23 points from 12 games and moved to the second position while Club Eagles also got the same number of points but TC Sports got the second position with goal difference.

Ibrahim Waheed Hasssan created the first chance in the 10th minute of the game from a wonderful shot inside the box, which went straight to the keeper.

Ali Fasir tested the goalkeeper Hanif in the last minute before the break from a descent free kick just out side the box.

Ali Fasir broke the deadlock in the 57th minute from a descent header inside the box after receiving a rebounded ball when keeper blocked Shamweel’s shot inside the box.

Keeper Hanif stopped another good free kick from Fasir and BG players cleared the ball from the danger zone.

TC Sports Club doubled the lead in the 76th minute from an own goal from Daniel Philemon. Daniel headed the ball to clear the free kick from Fasir but ends with a goal.

Ahmed Ziaan tested keeper Hanif again from another descent shot inside the box that was cleared for a corner kick.

Substitute player Kudus changed the score to 3-0 from a thunderbolt shot inside the box.

David Osagie changed the score to 3-1 from a wonderful shot inside the box, which hits the roof of the net.

Victory will play against United Victory tonight at 2100 hours.
