YRC will also have the opportunity to explore additional areas of the World of Red Bull, including visits to the Hangar 7, home of Peter Besenyi and the Flying Bulls who visited Maldives in December 2011 for the Red Bull Air Show.

“Winning this championship is an amazing feeling,” said Hussain Shareef the captain of YRC.

“We have reached our target. We set the target to win this tournament and all the guys in the team did very well. Actually we performed much better than we expected in some matches. This is not the first time we played together in a tournament but this tournament is definitely the most special.”

Hussain said that YRC is relishing the opportunity to take on Red Bull Salzburg.

“We are all very excited. It will surely be a once in a lifetime opportunity and we are looking forward to it. Actually the chance to play with a European club and see their facilities is what attracted us to take part in the tournament. We just can’t wait,” Hussain said.

Redbull winning five is a very popular tournament across the globe; however this is the first time the tournament was held in the Maldives. The tournament with its own unique sets of rules proved to be a very popular tournament among the youth. Five players are on each team but there is no goal keeper.
