Ashfaq shines at New Radiant night

Ashfaq won the player of the year award and supporters player of the year award.

Male’, MALDIVES – Ali Ashfaq has won New Radiant's best player and supporters best player award at New Radiant night held tonight. 

Ashfaq, who has scored an incredible 58 goals last season (including the two goals against Seychelles last November) has left Blues to join Malaysian premier league side, PDRM FA, played a vital role in New Radiant's 100% winning record in the domestic season last year.

Ali Ashfaq also won the best goal of the season for his goal against Persibo in AFC Cup last year.

In tonight’s function New Radiant presented Lifetime achievement award to Aminath Nahidha for her priceless effort in supporting her son Ali Ashfaq and his brother Ahmed Ashfan.

Rilwan Waheed won the best under 23 player award and the players who has won the excellence award includes Imran Mohamed, Ali Ashfaq, Mohamed Umair, Ali Fasir, Ali Umar and Ahmed Niyaz. Velizar Popov also won the excellence award.

New Radiant also presented special recognition award to their veteran’s team players Mohamed Ibrahim, who has won the best midfielder and top scorer Mohamed Nizam (Thoddoo).

Milo won the platinum partner award while executive partners are Mohamed Waheeduddin and Ibrahim Nooraddin. New Radiant’s silver partners are Medianet, STO, Filitheyo Island Resort, J Resort Alidhoo, Marble Hotel, Nalahiya Hotel, Queen family, Raul Ismail, Rukuma Ahmed, Mookai Suites, Villa Travels, Salsa catering, Bandos Island Resort.

In tonight’s function New Radiant also unveiled their all kits of next season.
