Eagles beats Maziya

Male’, MALDIVES – Club Eagles defeated Maziya Sports and Recreation Club by 2-1 today to confirmed the third place of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

In the 11th minute Rizuwan tested keeper Pavel from a good shot and keeper saves it.

Five minutes later Easa broke the deadlock from a good shot inside the box after a good team performance.

Rizuwan made another good shot on target which keeper blocked for a corner kick.

Asadhulla scored for Maziya and leveled the game from a good shot inside the box.

In the 68th minute Eagles keeper Sinnath made a wonderful save to block the shot from Moosa Yamin.

Ahmed Rizuwan took the lead for Eagles for the second time in the 73rd minute from a descent shot inside the box.

Asadhulla missed a good chance in the 79th minute to level the game when keeper blocked his shot in the box.

Eagles move to third position with 24 points from 14 games while Maziya got 21 points from 14 games.
