Maziya signs four players for the upcoming season

Male’, MALDIVES – Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has said that four players have joined with them for the upcoming season. Maziya’s official confirmed to maldivesoccer.com that the players who signed for Maziya are Valencia’s former skipper Ali Imran, Victory’s keeper Mohamed Nishah and VB Addu FC’s Hussain Shuaib and Ali Nafiu.

Maziya who has qualified for the AFC Cup next year are trying to strengthen their team. Earlier they have also managed to get the signature of Victory’s skipper Ahmed Shafiu and Hassan Adham.

Maziya’s General Secretary Abdul Wahhab said that still they are trying to sign some local players.

“Still we are trying to sign some local players and we are in discussions with them.”

Maldivesoccer.com can confirm that they are in negotiations with Ibrahim Fazeel and Mukhuthar Naseer.

Last season Maziya won the FA Cup for the first time and they managed to play a playoff match in the AFC Cup.

Did Mazia qualified for AFC cup? I thought they have to play play-off two matches to get qualified for the tournament.
