“I wish the best for New Radiant”

Mohan its way too early to leave. You are the one who can take New Radiant to a next level. We have AFC coming up. So think wisely and change your decision.

After what he has done for us, it is reasonable that we respect his decision.

he left because he would have to change his tactics next season. this is the problem with maldivian teams. the managements buy players and asks the coach to use them and win things. since europe is the region we all should take example of how teams are run, they give the coach a certain budget and gives him freedom to sign any player from the budjet provided. if maldivian teams follow this, we would be able to see better football in galholhu stadium, rather than the same old longball

yes. newradiant did not play the best football last season. but in the the previous two seasons newradiant played the best football in the country to finish the season empty handed. no point in playing like arsenal and finish the season empty handed.

If he were incapable, how would you explain their win with 0 losses in the league? And the president's Cup? Please elaborate further, and maybe, (in 200 years) someone will actually believe you.

Two of the established coaches have been booted out. I am talking about Mohan and Suzain. Yes, the perfectionists would say they were not booted out but resigned. But circumstances have dictated they resign. Is this the way forward to develop our budding coaches? When was the last time any of our local coaches had training and career enhancement opportunities provided to them? This is a serious issue as local coaches will not have less and less opportunities to showcase their talent and love of the game... time for a hard think by the Clubs and FAM.

He would not be happy to resign. I am very sure that he was forced to do so by the Club's Political Chairman. But in general, if you analyze the teams play given the star players they had, we cannot see an attractive game by them. It was a routine plan that Imran's kicks the ball into the penalty area or behind the diffenders knowing Dhagey would do the rest by collecting the ball n converting to a goal. Given the amount of money invested by the new chairman, this is not what he would have liked to see. Yes, Mohan did get the necessary results but a club like New Radian would not just want a win, they would want a win in style. So, with the up coming AFC cup, it is important that Club targets a foreign coach to further strengthen the team and play an attractive game like Valencia used to do
