Male’, MALDIVES - Mohamed Hanim, interim general secretary of Football Association of Maldives has been appointed as the new general secretary of FAM by the executive committee.
Speaking to maldivesoccer.com Hanim said that it’s a privilege to work as the general secretary of the governing body of the Maldivian football.
“It’s a privilege for me to work as a general secretary of FAM, and also it’s a big responsibility. I have to work hard and I thank the president for his trust on me to perform in FAM as the general secretary.”
Hanim, who was appointed as the interim general secretary by the newly elected executive committee, resigned as the manager of Club Valencia two days ago.
Meanwhile, FAM’s Vice President Abdhul Muhusin said that the executive committee has decided to appoint Ali Suzain as the head of National teams and Ahmed Mujthaba (Fesco) as the head of atoll and youth development. And also the exco has decided to appoint Izhan as the head of referees department.
