good question mate. It is the same with this football career as well. He will always say this is the last season and will be playing in the next season as well. Also the facebook page of Valencia, ( I guess the writer of the page is obsessed with Assad) has congratulated Assad on making back to the national team, whilst in reality it is only a preliminary list and most probably Assad would not make the team. Such is the obsession with Assad by the facebook page owner.

Can someone please advise Valencia to stop labelling Assad as the Gold Captain or we would have to start calling all the players in that team as Gold something... like Gold goal keeper, Gold defender, Gold right back, Gold left back, Gold defending midfielder, Gold vice captain, Gold striker, Gold Kit Manager, Gold Goal scorer, Gold supporter, etc.... This is getting ridiculous even if the management worships Assad!!!

Oppo and Tom can still be very useful players. I don't think they have the stamina to last 90 minutes any more, but during matches when we need a goal or two, they can come off the bench and make an impact. An example is the match against Seychelles when we were losing 1-0, when Oppo came on and scored 2 goals to hand us a win. But I am very surprised about the inclusion of Assad; I thought he made it very clear that he retired to "give a chance for younger players".
