Male', MALDIVES - A reliable source has confirmed to maldivesoccer.com that general secretary of Football Association of Maldives, Mohamed Hanim has resigned from that post.
Maldivesoccer can confirm that Hanim did not attend the office now and he didn't attend the functions that are being held by FAM.
FAM's president Ilham Ahmed said that he didn't know about his resignation and he didn't receive a letter so far.
"I didn't receive a letter about his resignation and I didn't know about it."
"He is on a leave now and I don't know what will happen later."
Meanwhile football's governing body of Asia, AFC has fined Maldives for not submitting the report of the two matches that Maldives national women's team played against Bahrain. The fine is USD 1000.
Speaking to maldivesoccer Hanim has said that he didn't resign from that post so far.
"I didn't resign from that post so far." Hanim said.
