Zelon wins the title

Male’, MALDIVES – Zelon has won the Kruger Goadhiyaa Futsal Cup 2013 after beating Elot by 2-1 which was held in Addu City last week.

Twenty teams from Addu City participated in the Kruger Goadhiyaa Futsal Cup. Speaking to maldivesoccer.com the tournament organizer Hassan Najumee said that the 20 teams were divided into 4 groups of 5 teams in each group.

“We divided the 20 teams into 4 groups of 5 teams in each group and the best two teams advance to the quarter final of the tournament.

He also highlighted that the champion team won a cash prize of MVR 50,000.

Tournament main sponsor Kruger is a coffee imported, marketed and distributed by State Trading Organization (STO).
