Male', MALDIVES - Maziya SRC's coach Ismail Mahefooz is confident of a good result as they face Malaysian Giant Selangor at home tomorrow.

Speaking to the media today Imma said that even though he regards Selangor as a much stronger side compared to Maziya, he is confident of a good result at home.

"Of course Selangor is a very strong side with very good players. But we are playing in our home ground tomorrow and in the AFC cup home matches are vital. We will respect Selangor. But at home we are confident that we can get a good result. The players will work for that," Imma said.

Maziya lost the opening game of Group F by 5-1, away to Hanoi T and T of Vietnam.

Imma said that after the disappointing result of the first game, all the players are eager to get a better result at home.

"It was a heavy defeat to Hanoi. But there were many reasons that led to the defeat. We were unfortunate to loose in the end. The players played well in that game. Tomorrow's game is important to us. We want to take 3 points," Imma said.

Selangor also recorded a disappointing result in the first game, earning a 1-1 draw at home to Indonesian Side Arema Indonesia.

Speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's game Selangor's Australian coach Mehmet Durakovic said that the game against Maziya is vital for their chances of reaching the knockout stages. "

"This is a very important match. We should have won the first match. We got so many chances. We played well that's important. It's very important to get maximum points in tomorrow's match," Durakovic said.

Durakovic said that Maziya is a very good side and he believes it would not be an easy task to beat them at home.

"Maziya is a very good side. Especially playing at their home ground is not easy. I think it will be a tough game. But our players are very professional and if we stick to our tactics, our game plan everything will be ok," Durakovic said.

Selangor has played 3 games against Maldivian clubs in Male', winning one game and loosing two. Their win was against Hurriya in the 2006 edition of the AFC Cup. Their latest game was in last year's AFC Cup when they lost 2-0 to New Radiant in the second round.
