1840: Myanmar in Group A. Maldives will play opening match against Myanmar. Also Krygstan and Palestine in Group A.

Group B consists of Turkmenistan, Phillipnes, Afghanistan and Laos

1750: Eight Finalists are ranked from the result of AFC Challenge cup Nepal 2012. They will be divided in to 2 groups of 4 teams each. As the host, Maldives will be positioned A1. All the other teams ranked above the host will automatically moved down one place in the ranking. Therefore, Turkmenistan will rank 2nd, Philippines 3rd and Palestine 4th.

Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the official draw ceremony of 2014 AFC Challenge Cup here from Paradise Island Resort and Spa. The fifth edition of the tournament will take place from 19-30 May this year in the Maldives, with the winners qualifying for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

The eight teams who are participating in this tournament are Maldives as the host, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Palestine, Laos, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines and Turkmenistan.
